1DayLater – Easy Tracking of Business Expenses
Everywhere you turn there is another company looking to merge your offline life with your online life. Web application 1DayLater is one of the latest entries into the business market, focusing on time, mileage, and cashflow tracking. This app is purposefully minimal to eliminate the amount of steps it takes to get expenses in and out of the application.
Once you signup for one of three plans you will have access to a dashboard where most of your day-to-day entries will go. The dashboard is the only way to get data into 1DayLater other than an iPhone app that was recently added. The dashboard includes a stop-watch feature to track time against specific projects. Receipt data is also entered into the dashboard, as is mileage information.
The free option includes tracking for unlimited projects and clients, as well as basic visualization reports. For $15 a month or $120 per year you can get access to full visualization reports and access to generate invoices directly from your time and expenses entries. They also offer a corporate package for larger businesses at an unpublished price.
3 Reasons You Might Need 1DayLater:
- You travel frequently between multiple clients and have difficulty tracking mileage and time spent per client.
- You work on multiple projects per day from your desk and would love an additional way to track time spent per project.
- You want to learn ways you could be more efficient in your business life, and feel the visualization tools could help that.
3 Reasons You Wouldn’t Need 1DayLater:
- You already have a time-tracking program and don’t need to add an extra level of complexity.
- You switch between projects so frequently it would be impossible to track time spent on specific tasks.
- You have a mobile phone other than an iPhone and would like to track expenses via mobile.
