Add Yes/No Polls to Your Site with Urtak
We showed you a polling app last week that allowed you to ask any type of question, get any type of answer and have unlimited control over your branding. Urtak takes polling in a completely different direction, boiling potential answers down into two possibilities – yes or no.
While this may seem overly simplistic the trick with this widget is its ability to ask multiple questions in rapid-fire succession. It is strangely engaging to answer one question after another. Site visitors are often inundated with detailed polls and surveys that seem to give no credence to our busy and hectic schedules. Urtak seems to get this and lets us join in a conversation, take just a few seconds, and provide valuable market research.
Creating a Urtak takes just a few minutes and you can add as many questions as you would like, all for free. When you are done, Urtak gives you the code to embed it on your site. Reports are limited as are branding but this product is fairly early in development.
Urtak makes sense for your business if:
- You have questions for your consumers that fit nicely into the yes/no format.
- You want to add polls to your site but want to take as little time as possible to set it up.
Urtak doesn’t make sense if:
- You have strict brand guidelines since Urtak doesn’t give you much control over look and feel.
- You want to collect email addresses from potential poll takers.
