iPromote is One-Click Ad Creator
Last week we wrote about Phoenix, a dead-simple image and ad creator that operates much like Photoshop. But we realize that not everybody or every company wants or needs to create that ad completely from scratch. Sometimes you just want somebody to take photos from your site and turn it into a web ad. This is exactly what iPromote provides.
The first step with iPromote is to enter your site’s URL and let them find photos and text from your site. About 30 seconds later they turn this into a multimedia ad that you can immediately publish to their ad network in multiple sizes. If you don’t like the image they select you can replace it with other images they find on your site. Depending on the content of your site this is the one area that will make or break the usefulness of iPromote for you. Key to making this work is having photos on your site that don’t have text on top of them.
Once your ad is created you they ask for your ad placement specifics, such as daily budget, max cost-per-click, and region to display. Then they collect your credit card and your ad starts displaying on nationally-relevant sites, including mobile versions.
GIVE ME AN EXAMPLE
As with all apps we supply you with a sample usage case that will hopefully help you generate some ideas of how your business could be using this product.
Ag Equipment Dealer – You have a small marketing staff, and nobody with Photoshop skills, but you feel like you need an online presence. So you sign up for iPromote, let it cruise your site for photos and 30 seconds later have a flash advertisement that displays in multiple sizes for multiple platforms. Within 10 minutes you are advertising your business on regional ag sites, all without opening a single image editor.
